After arriving in Alaska in 1971, NNStoelting lived and worked throughout the 1970’s at a remote mining camp in the state’s Interior where she also raised her daughter and met her husband. Her stories often reflect aspects of Alaska, its people and its many beauties and challenges. Her first published novel, BLIZZARD, is of events and set in an area very much like her real life experiences. The author and her husband have lived in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city, since 1988.

Since retiring, she has focused on writing and editing.
